Kendall Jenner Told Ellen Whether She's Coming Back to Instagram or Not

Kendall Jenner sent her fans into a tizzy this week after her Instagram account disappeared from the platform. At the time, we weren't sure whether she fully committed to deleting her account or if she merely disabled it, but now we have our answer.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote the newest book she wrote with sister Kylie, Jenner revealed the real reason she quit Instagram and whether she's coming back. “I just wanted to detox. I just wanted a little bit of a break," she told the host. "I’m always on it. I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing. I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent on it, so I wanted to take a minute to detox. I’ll be back, I'll come back." So there you have it: Kendall fans can breathe easy again.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
