Fall 10 Fashion

Fall 10 Fashion
Friday, September, 24, 2010 This fall, a handful of shows Proenza Schouler, Celine, and Isabel Marant are inspiring my personal wardrobe and influencing my seasonal purchases. I love how the fashion tide is turning towards sleek sophistication and polished ladylike looks: it's very adult (in a good way) and chic. I plan on incorporating this trend into my closet via silky button-ups, pleated skirts, and structured satchels, but I'll make it my own by pairing these essentials with pieces that have my signature statement edge. In addition to these must-haves, my eyes are always peeled for of-the-moment prints and the season's key colors. On that note, fall's call for red leather really resonates with me it's unexpected and assertive, the perfect way to wake up any outfit. I'm also crazy about animal-print accents; a hint of leopard is the ideal way to freshen up my timeless staples and make them feel current again. All in all, I'm incredibly excited about fall's fantastic options. Unlike in seasons' past, there's not a single look, decade, or silhouette you have to wear, so you can gather inspiration everywhere. It's thrilling, to say the least!
