The Love Actually Sequel Just Confirmed a Major Model in Its Cast

Gina Marinelli

If we’d had to guess which iconic model would make an appearance in the sequel of our favorite holiday movie, Love Actually, our money would have been on Claudia Schiffer. But despite Schiffer’s role in the original, we would have been wrong. In fact, according to WWD, it’s Kate Moss who’s landed a gig alongside the movie’s stars.

While the sequel is perhaps not the complete full-feature closure a true Love Actually fan would want from the film (We have so many outstanding questions: What happens to Harry and Karen’s marriage? Does the prime minister marry his former employee?), it does return to the screen for a good cause. Debuting March 24 on BBC in the UK and March 25 on NBC in the U.S., the short film is in honor of Red Nose Day. It also marks Moss’s latest onscreen acting role, following a couple of cameos in Absolutely Fabulous and her music video with Elvis.

It’s unclear what the British model’s role will entail, especially in relationship to returning Love Actually actors Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, and Martine McCutcheon, but we’re hoping for a bit of dry, witty humor—and, undoubtedly, a great wardrobe.
