Kaia Gerber Just Closed the Marc Jacobs Show—and Shut Down NYFW
At just 16 years old, the young model has undeniably taken the NYFW runway by storm. Following in her mother Cindy Crawford's footsteps, Kaia Gerber made her runway debut this season at not just one show but at four major design houses. Starting off the week, Kaia walked in the Calvin Klein show Thursday after posting illusive Instagram photos from backstage. She gained major attention after becoming the face of Marc Jacobs fragrance earlier this year, so it comes as no surprise that she set her sights on the catwalk.
After her somewhat soft entry into NYFW at Calvin Klein, Kaia strutted off the #WangFest party bus to open the Alexander Wang show. In an itty-bitty white dress and "naked" heels, the model still looked angelic with natural makeup and her middle-parted locks flowing down her back. Next up was the Fenty x Puma show, which was attention-grabbing in its own right. Kaia was suited up in a cobalt-blue crop top, coordinating bike shorts, and reflective athletic sunglasses. Next, she walked in Monday's Coach show in a shimmery ensemble of sparkles and satin. Displaying her full range of sartorial runway looks, Kaia closed the Marc Jacobs show in a yellow gown and towering black head scarf.
