See Jennifer Hudson's Prince-Inspired Look for Her Purple Rain Tribute

Adrianna Barrionuevo

Jennifer Hudson shut it down in more ways than one at the recent BET Awards. The singer gave a moving performance honoring the late Prince and made it look totally effortless. Hudson paid homage to the legend with her rendition of "Purple Rain," which she performed alongside Tori Kelly and Stevie Wonder. Being the fashion girl that she is, J.Hud donned a custom Christian Siriano design that some pointed out resembled an outfit Prince wore at the People's Choice Awards in 2005. The hooded white tuxedo dress may have been inspired by the icon's fashion moment, but Hudson made it all her own. She accessorized the exquisite look with diamonds from APM Monaco and a pair of sparkly Christian Louboutin pumps.
