Chanel Footwear
Wholly desirable and unquestionably chic, Chanel is the rare fashion company that manages to look to the past and future simultaneously. Each season we see the ways in which Coco's illustrious staples-like her signature camellias, ropes of pearls, and love of tweeds-are referenced in new and fantastic ways. For example, this fall, creative director Karl Lagerfeld showed the Chanel collection with footwear that bears some of the house's hallmarks: quilting and cap-toe details.

While difficult to show here, the multi-buckle, multi-strap heels have a faint gold quilting detail on the inside of the shoe. They start at about $750 and can run up to $1225 for the satin-and-strass pumps (800.550.0005 for stockists), while the cap-toe boots start at upwards of $2000. But if these price tags make you blanche, or if you just don't have the time and energy to track these desired kicks down, you can still get the look!

Steve Madden and Office Shoes have options that bear an uncanny resemblance to the Chanel shoes (and, naturally, at a fraction of the price). We found the Brit Boot by Steve Madden ($149.95) in either black/gold or white/black combinations is a very "Inspired By" choice, while UK company Office Shoes make a heel called the Rudey 3 Buckle ($126) in black patent leather that also achieves the same Chanel feeling as the mutli-strap-and-buckle heels we saw on the runway. -Allison Wood
