Just because you're knocked up, doesn't mean you can't be a knockout. But what's a stylish gal to wear when she's got a bun in the oven? Gone are the days of monstrous maternity schmatas. Instead, take cues from these recently preggers, Hollywood hot stuffs like Sofia Coppola, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gwen Stefani, and Heidi Klum. There are also many ideal choices from the Spring 2007 runway that are easily adaptable to a blooming physique-thank God for the still-popular voluminous shapes! But that's not all...We turned to one of the most chic moms we know, Ali (a publicist for many well-respected fashion lines), and coaxed her into revealing some of her signature secrets. "My advice is to stay away from maternity clothes," Ali says. "Just buy cute things a size or two bigger than you'd normally wear."

While pregnant, Ali satisfied her cravings for on-trend apparel by shopping Forever 21, Zara, and H&M. While daily clothes should be relatively inexpensive ("You're never going to wear them again," Ali says), there are some investments worth making. "You won't regret buying a few nice things-like a YSL belt to cinch under your bust or cute flats-to wear out so you still feel attractive," she says. "But only do this with pieces you'll still wear after the baby." Ali's other must-haves: EMI (Elle Macpherson's line) maternity bras, figure-forgiving Tsumori Chisato tops, Tory Burch flats ("The most comfortable thing ever"), Hanky Panky underwear, and Habitual jeans. Put them all together and you too can be a yummy mummy.
