A Fashion-Forward Way to Wear an Animal-Print Coat

One of the pieces our editors look forward to taking out of storage for fall is an animal-print coat. The classic piece of outerwear can be worn in an endless number of ways, but to keep it looking fresh we like to keep an eye out for new inspiration wherever we can. Low and behold, we came across this fashion-forward take on the coat and we are so on board with the styling.

To pull it off, all you'll need is four key pieces, and the best part is you probably already have these items in your closet. Layer a leopard- or cheetah-print coat of your choice over a black turtleneck knit and slouchy boyfriend jeans, then complete the look with a structured two-toned leather bag and mule loafers.

Keep scrolling to see the street style shot that caught our eye, plus our favorite animal print coats of the season.
