Here's How to Toughen Up Your Floral-Print Skirt

If you’re a fan of floral print but have been hesitant to wear it out of concern for it feeling too sweet and girly, this inspiration is for you. Kate Ogata of the blog The Fancy Pants Report shows us how to gave a floral skirt an edgy feel, and we’re taking notes!

For this look in particular, Ogata grounded her white tee and flirty skirt with four key pieces. The first is a classic black leather moto jacket, which can be draped over the shoulders for an elevated touch. The next is a trendy black bucket bag that you can wear on your shoulder or with the strap knotted for a handheld look. For shoes, you can’t go wrong with black lace-up sandals. And, last but not least, top off the outfit with oversize aviator sunglasses.
