The Common Denim Mistake to Look Out For

Jeans and ankle boots—one of our favorite duos. While it seems natural to pair these two together, there is a science to marrying the items. One of the common issues we've seen recently is that women tend to wear their jeans too long, causing them to bunch over the boots. While it's okay, it doesn't necessarily make the overall ensemble feel polished.

A quick fix? Tailoring your jeans so they sweep the top of the ankle boots, or investing in cropped denim (in any silhouette from skinny to flared) so the jeans fit perfectly with the boots and avoid bunching. (Plus, this is a great way to show off your gorgeous statement booties.)

To help map it out a bit further, we rounded up street style inspiration to showcase just how you should be wearing your jeans and ankle boots now.
