And the Next H&M Collaboration Is With…

Gina Marinelli

The coolest, most in-your-wildest-dreams designer collaborations are known for drawing crowds. Think Louis Vuitton and Supreme, Rihanna’s collection for Fenty x Puma, and without a doubt H&M’s, well, nearly every H&M designer collaboration. Today the Swedish fast-fashion giant has announced its next partner, and it’s a brand we’re used to seeing on everyone from Alexa Chung to Michelle Obama: the print-master, London-based Erdem.

For the first time, H&M will not only introduce designs from Erdem Moralioglu at a lower price point but will include a men’s collection in addition to womenswear. "I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale, including a menswear collection which I have never done before," the designer says in a press release.

And to further amplify the good news, the partnership will also include filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, who "will bring the collection to life through his unique storytelling," H&M revealed. Considering he's the visionary behind Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, and The Great Gatsby, we can expect so much eye candy in the future.

Get a glimpse of the collection in the Luhrmann video below, and mark your calendar for November 2 when the collection arrives in stores and online.
