Proof That Fashion Girls Will Be Giving Up Shoe Laces Soon

Yesterday, the Hermès spring collection debuted on the runways in Paris. Color and patterns (especially checks) were prominent in all of the looks. And now, in conjunction with its S/S 18 showing, the brand has designed a joyful and graphic assortment of shoes. The inspiration behind the new footwear? The idea of a "game."

With checks being a major theme of the ready-to-wear collection, it's no surprise then that the footwear line also features a signature pattern. But this time, it's all about bold color-blocking with elements of a "puzzle" also inspiring the shoe designs.

And while all the shoes are truly a work of art, there was one style that we were especially fond of—a pair of light-blue and black sneakers, wait for it, sans laces. Just slip them on, and you're ready to go—no need to tie them up.

Scroll down to see the new sneakers, as well as the rest of the shoes in this collection.
