Though the world's love of nail art shows no signs of abating, S/S 13 runways were full of natural, buffed, shiny nails. Some were clear, others light pink, and a few totally bare--the point is, they were so ubiquitous we started to tune out in favor of chatting up models. But at Altuzarra's spring show, held in a photo studio in downtown Manhattan, butter London's Global Colour Ambassador Katie Hughes caught our attention: "It's like a Bb cream for your nails!"Hughes was talking about butter London's Nail Foundation
($18), the key to what she called "a mannequin manicure." It goes on nude, dries clear, and conceals imperfections like calcium deposits, ridges, or discoloration on your nails. At Altuzarra, Hughes layered butter London's Hardwear P.D. Top Coat
($18) on top for a bit of shine, but even if you skip this step, the Foundation will still give your nails a perfected yet polish-free look.
