The Brand Giving Out Free Leggings Is Finally Delivering on Its Promise

Back in May, we were so excited to report that a new brand called Girlfriend Collective would deliver free leggings throughout summer to give early adopters a sneak peek at its product that will be launching in September. The only catch about this too-good-to-be-true promotion was that customers would have to cover the $19.95 shipping fee. But it's not such a bad deal considering the fair-trade product would be coming from the brand's SA8000-certified manufacturer in Vietnam. Well, the time has finally come for eager shoppers to receive their purchases; according to the brand's Instagram page, it has officially started shipping out orders, and those free leggings are coming your way.

"This means every week from now on, more and more leggings are going to fly the coop from Hanoi and join you," reads a portion of the caption. Girlfriend Collective also notes that packages could take some time due to customs processing, but tracking numbers will be provided to "keep tabs on their progress." The good news is that you can still snag a pair for yourself if you're up for the shipping fee.
