Analeigh Tipton

Your WWW editors love Crazy, Stupid, Love for numerous reasons--among the obvious are Ryan Gosling's abs, Emma Stone's charming performance, and Steve Carrell's wit--but what really stood out about this fantastic film was rising star Analeigh Tipton! A former contestant on Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model, Tipton has proven herself a real talent on both the silver and small screen, with leading roles in the recent Damsels in Distress and season three of Hung. It's easy to see that Tipton is a face-to-watch, especially since she consistently shines on the red carpet too! Reaching for feminine pieces with a current and edgy spin, Tipton's arsenal of thoughtfully-constructed ensembles is unfailingly chic and always exciting, which is exactly why we're showing you how to get her look today!

On The Red Carpet and At Events
Whether she's attending a film screening or an exclusive fashion event, Tipton's affinity for stylish simplicity is apparent in almost every outfit. Case in point: the sleek, monochromatic ensemble she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of her film Damsels in Distress earlier this year. Understated elegance at its best, Tipton's perfectly pared-down look consisted of a white sleeveless Calvin Klein Collection dress from the Resort 12 collection--notice the athletic-inspired trend on display with the high neckline--and champagne Casadei pumps. In addition to her stunning minimalist looks, it should also be noted that Tipton enjoys a subversively sexy outfit on occasion too! For The Film Society's screening of Damsels in Distress two months ago, Tipton opted for an all-noir look via a Hoss Intropia dress and B Brian Atwood's Cassiane Heels ($280). The combination of sheer paneling and fringe details give the look a cool, come-hither spirit befitting the 23-year-old actress. On that same note, we also approve of the boudoir-influenced ensemble Tipton selected for an Elie Saab dinner in New York back in April. Together, the bright red jacket and pants combo (from Elie Saab's Resort 12 collection) and black sheer lace top made for an irresistibly chic, masculine-meets-feminine outcome.

Happily, mimicking Tipton's feminine styling is a piece of cake when you have the right pieces on hand. From a pretty lace skirt to a sweet pink blush, we've curated a selection of essential fashion and beauty picks that will have you channeling our GOTM's on-point aesthetic in no time at all!

Get Her Look
Yoana Baraschi Sunblaze Lace Skirt($148)
This preposterously chic pencil skirt has Tipton's name written all over it! The bright coral hue and intricate lace design, while a stunning combination, also imbue the skirt with playful femininity-a characteristic that is fully present in all of our GOTM's ensembles. Throw it on with a silky tank and sandals and you'll have yourself a noteworthy after-hours look.

Nicole Miller Sadies Clutch ($415)
Though our GOTM tends to keep it pretty simple in the accessories department, she occasionally adds a touch of glamour to her looks via a bedazzled clutch. Accordingly, we selected Nicole Miller's Sadies Clutch, which, with its flashy crystal embellishments, would be the perfect finish to any GNO outfit.

In God We Trust Jordyn Top ($200)
It's clear that menswear-inspired pieces play a major role in Tipton's wardrobe, so this button-up by In God We Trust seemed like a natural fit for today's story. The sleeveless cut is great for the current summer months, plus the contrasting collar and pocket lend the understated piece an interesting and modern look. Just be sure to follow Tipton's lead and style it with a pair of printed trousers.

Zara Combined Printed Shorts ($60)
If you've already read Market Watch: Summer Shorts, then you probably know that printed silky shorts are the perfect way to stay chic and cool this season. This affordable pair by Zara would surely appeal to Tipton's tastes, as the relaxed fit and patchwork print design exude easy elegance. We imagine she'd style them with a boyish button-up and heels for a fashion party.

JewelMint Revolution Rings ($30 per set)
For the girl who restrains from chunky, statement jewelry-a.k.a. Tipton-these dainty rings by JewelMint are an excellent choice! The embellished 3-piece set, inspired by the shapes of nuts and bolts, includes a gold-plated hexagon, rose gold-plated square, and an oxidized gold pentagon. While they're certainly swell on their own, you can also stack them all on one finger, making these little baubles the ideal everyday accessory.

Topshop Riot Lace Cut Out Sandals ($160) in Nude
Of all the must-have nude sandals to choose from this season, we think this pair by Topshop is a prime pick, especially if you plan on channeling our GOTM! While the neutral hue gives them a sophisticated look appropriate enough for daywear, the strappy design and lace-up detailing make them suitable for an after-hours fete too! Versatile and chic-yes, please!

Le Méteier de Beauté Creme Fresh Tint for Lip and Cheek ($28) in Poppy
To achieve Tipton's perfectly flushed cheeks, you'll definitely want to snag Le Méteier de Beauté's Creme Fresh Tint for Lip and Cheek in Poppy. The sheer color formula is easy to wear (we promise!) and will instantly brighten your cheeks for a fresh, rosy glow. We also recommend dabbing some of the color onto your lips for a pretty pink stain!

Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein Black Viscose Crepe Belted Keyhole Dress ($160)
If you're searching for that wear-with-anything, perfect-for-summer LBD, look no further than the Black Viscose Crepe Belted Keyhole Dress from Francisco Costa's diffusion Calvin Klein line, sold exclusively at Macy's. Sophisticated, yet also subtly sexy at the same time, this breezy frock is sure to get you through a slew of warm-weather events. While Tipton might add a pair of textured black sandals to complete the look, we also like the idea of incorporating a few bright accessories, like a patterned bag and statement cuff.--Jessica Baker
