Pinterest pink may haunt us as the hue that just won't go away, but there's a strong signal that a bold new color has come to steal the throne: eye-catching orange. For Giorgio Armani Privé's Haute Couture S/S 17 show, the color story focused solely on punchy satsuma, soft peach, and even bright orange as well.

According to Pinterest's own numbers, orange is on the uptick online as well, with a 59 percent increase in saves compared to last year. This means that Armani's tangerine-tinged runway is giving the people exactly what they want. While the dramatic color palette was the standout theme across the collection, the clothing also featured oriental details, silken kimonos, and obi belts. Rounding out the show with feathery boas and sparkling statement gowns, Armani raised the potential of this unexpected hue making a red carpet appearance this award season.
