Gigi Hadid's New Campaign Is the Fashion Equivalent of a Birthday Card

Is there anything Karl Lagerfeld can't do? The iconic designer steers the helm at Chanel and his own eponymous label, but he's also served as the creative director of Fendi, a company he's collaborated with for 51 years (yes really). To celebrate Fendi's 90th anniversary, the designer stepped behind the lens (another talent to add to his résumé) to capture supermodel Gigi Hadid dressed in head-to-toe Fendi haute couture.

In addition, the designer opened up about his relationship with the house for Harper's Bazaar, revealing, “I’m easy to work with. I’m not on an ego trip. I’m only interested in the craft and the design and to work with people I enjoy. Many other designers have an ego problem. Most of them do. That’s really the problem.” Lagerfeld also discussed the success of his collaboration with the Fendi family, along with some funny throwback moments.
