On the second day of our Gift Guide, we're turning the spotlight on the sort of peripatetic person we all know and love: the Frequent Flyer! Whether she's an actual model, like Rose Huntington-Whiteley, or just has model-off-duty style, this girl has decidedly downtown sensibilities and never fails to look cool. Presented in partnership with our friends at Coach, today's roundup is full of on-trend essentials for the jet-set girl, ranging from a Stones-referencing t-shirt to a splurge-worthy coat that will certainly be on our wishlists! Read on for all the details about these Frequent Flyer gifts, and if you feel like picking up a few for yourself, we promise not to tell!
Coach Shearling Trench ($2398, 866.262.2440)
Of all the winter coats available this season, we think today's subject would fall hard for this uber-cozy style from Coach. A chic investment, to be sure, this trenchcoat take on the shearling jacket is sure to keep her warm and protected from winter's harsh weather for years to come. We have a hunch she'll appreciate the belted silhouette, which is not only figure-flattering, but also happens to be a big trend in outerwear right now! If this coat happens to be out of your price range, you'll be happy to know that Coach offers loads of fabulous shearling items, including the super chic Adelina Booties ($278)!
Exclusively.in Phulkari Scarf ($70) in Vermilion Red
With a gorgeous floral embroidered design and sequin detailing, this scarf looks like something the FF could have picked up while browsing a bazaar in India. (Which makes sense, considering it was made in India and features traditional Punjabi embroidery!) Whether she uses it to stay warm in a chilly city or to add some color and texture to a neutral look, we have a feeling this piece will become a mainstay in her carry-on.
River Island White Animal Print Ankle Boots ($100)
One of the things we admire about the Frequent Flyer is her ability to track down some of the coolest clothing and accessories imaginable. Since she adores things with a visually intriguing twist, we thought these Dalmatian-print ankle booties from River Island would surely bring a smile to her face. The unfussy, zip-on-and-go design is great for this busy girl, while the of-the-moment spotted pattern will instantly punch up any look.
Burberry Brit Sheer Eau de Toilette Rollerball ($25)
Give the seasoned traveler in your life the gift of a fresh arrival with Burberry Brit's Sheer Eau de Toilette Rollerball! The subtly fruity floral fragrance is quite mesmerizing, but the best part is the .33 oz. size, which not only meets travel carry-on standards, but also fits perfectly into any clutch for an evening out!
D.L. & CO. Skull Cased Candle ($115)
Bearing in mind the fact that our subject is always on the move, we think a candle is just the gift to help her relax while at home. Of course, not just any ordinary candle will do in this case, which is why we recommend picking up the Skull Cased Candle by D.L. & Co.! The juxtaposition of the Goth-glam gold skull case and the delicate fragrance makes for one truly unique accent piece she's guaranteed to enjoy.
Nicole Miller Faux Stretch Leather Pants ($330) in Black
The Frequent Flyer is known for having some tough-girl edge, which is why we're positive she'll be smitten with these amazing faux leather pants by Nicole Miller. Not only are they a wardrobe essential every winter, but thanks to the faux stretch leather and cropped fit, they are quite comfortable too, so she can wear them around town or on the plane! We also approve of Topshop's more affordable Faux Leather Skinny Trousers ($66) if you're on the hunt for a budget-friendly option.
Wildfox Fan Club Tee ($92) in Dirty White
Easy breezy, fuss-free clothing is an imperative part of the FF's wardrobe, so tracking down a comfortable-yet-stylish tee was our first order of business. Happily, we stumbled across Wildfox's Fan Club Tee, which has a great vintage feel, thanks to its slightly distressed look and oversized fit. Plus, the nod to The Rolling Stones speaks to her cool, rocker sensibilities perfectly.
Rebecca Minkoff Zipped Up Ear Phones ($48)
It's been said that we spend five minutes a day unraveling on our headphones-an amount of time that's seems entirely too long in our opinion. That said, we were wildly excited to learn about the Zipped Up Ear Phones by Rebecca Minkoff, which were clearly designed with the stylish, iPod-loving Frequent Flyer in mind. The headphones cords cleverly zip up to prevent tangling, while the pyramid stud ear buds give them a cool, fashionable look.
