This Couture Collection Is About to Be All Over the Red Carpet

Hilary George-Parkin

Giambattista Valli is a king of the red carpet—just ask Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Lily Collins, or one of the countless other celebrities that have worn one of his designs in recent years. Today, the designer presented his Fall 2017 Couture collection in Paris, and naturally, there were show-stopping gowns aplenty.

Like yesterday's Rodarte show, there was a floral theme running through many of the looks, from wildflower-printed chiffon to appliquéd blossoms to petals fashioned out of tulle. High-low hems, capes, and corseted bodices cut dramatic silhouettes on the runway, and the show concluded with a trio of tiered tulle confections in black, ballet-slipper, and bubble-gum pink with trains worthy of the Met Gala stairs (almost makes you wish it hadn't just happened, eh?)

Below, see 17 dresses from the show we're betting will make an appearance on the red carpet very soon.
