Why You Should Do This Before Getting Dressed for a Big Event

From the best places to source vintage to the secret to finding your most flattering jeans, come back each week for a professional’s perspective.
As we plan for our big upcoming events, especially as the holiday season rolls in, I wanted to share one of the things I always suggest to my clients. Before any big event, I alleviate the nerves by not only planning out a look but also trying on my outfit a couple days in advance. I do this for a couple reasons: firstly, to make sure there are no alterations that need to be made, and secondly (note—this is the most important reason), to make sure I'm set with the right undergarment options. I always make sure I have the right bra, tape, underwear, Spanx, etc. The right undergarments will make you feel more confident, and they also offer the most flattering fit possible. Be sure to keep these tips in mind so you can approach your events knowing your are fully prepared and stylishly stress-free.
