From stylish French It girls to cool Parisian brands, we make no secret of the fact that we're obsessed with all things French here at Who What Wear. So naturally, our ears perked up when we heard about a study that revealed French women's shopping habits.
WWD reported that 80% of French women plan on waiting to shop until items go on sale this winter. The data comes from a survey conducted by the Observatoire du Prêt-à-Porter, which was created by French fashion retailer Camaïeu and a market research company. According to WWD, the same survey also revealed that French women will spend an average of $235 this winter. Plus, 60% of the respondents said they plan on shopping both online and in-store. So there you have it: Shop like a French woman and wait until the sales hit—your wallet will thank you.
