You'll Feel So Good About Buying This Fashion Girl's Bag Collection

We love blogger Blair Eadie for her impeccable style that’s always put together yet approachable. As an industry insider, her experience in fashion merchandising has given her a knack for pairing unexpected pieces with a signature feminine flair and playful eye. When we found out she’s launching a special collaboration with handbag brand FEED, we were excited to get our hands on a little piece of her style.

The Blair Eadie for FEED collection launches today with a small handbag that packs a big punch. Inspired by a camera bag, the Blair Bag is more structured than the brand’s typically broken-in shapes, which speaks to Eadie’s hands-on involvement in the collaboration. “It was fun to be back designing, choosing materials and trims, editing, and reviewing production samples,” said Eadie.

The versatile crossbody bag comes in colors that match each of the blogger’s street style moods—brick for playful, taupe for bohemian, and black for the classic NYC look. A fourth blush color is the perfect iteration of her retro femininity that will be sold exclusively in-store at the FEED Shop and Cafe in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

More importantly, we wanted to know how the style maven would wear her bag. “I am really feeling the slip dress trend for fall,” said Eadie. “So to dress the bag up, I would pair it back to a slip dress worn under a gorgeous velvet kimono. Throw on an easy slide sandal if the weather is still on the warmer side, or sock booties when the temperature starts to dip!” For more casual, day-to-day wear, she recommends an easy oversize sweater, slouchy jeans, and your favorite minimal sneaker.

But what really sets this collection apart from other brands Eadie has worked with is the home-grown cause to provide meals to families in New York City. For each bag purchased, FEED donates 50 meals to the Food Bank of New York City, the city's largest hunger relief organization.

FEED founder Lauren Bush Lauren wanted to give Eadie a personal connection to the give-back. “It was so fun to see how she incorporated that New York element into the campaign shoot to bring the collection story full circle,” she said.

There’s nothing like shopping for fall essentials while making a difference at the same time. “An easy way to start being more socially active is to make a conscious effort to ‘vote with your dollars’ by supporting brands that make the world a better place in some way,” said Lauren.
