Paris Fashion Week
WHO: Clemence Poesy
WHAT: Leaving the Chanel F/W 11 show on Tuesday.
WEAR: A ladylike jacket plus a circle skirt equals the perfect Parisian-chic ensemble. Model/actress Clemence Poesy turned up in this delightful combo for the Chanel F/W 11 show, wearing a black and white tweed jacket from the F/W 10 collection and a flowy black mini skirt. A pair of opaque tights and black pumps give her look a perfectly polished finish.
WHO: Florence Welch
WHAT: Arriving at the Chanel F/W 11 show on Tuesday.
WEAR: Florence Welch often goes for a whimsical look, so it was not surprising to see that she selected Chanel's Embroidered and Printed Tulle Jacket with Feather Trim ($10710, 800.550.0005) and Printed Tulle Skirt with Smocked Waist ($3220, 800.550.0005) for the fashion house's F/W 11 show. We love that she opted for the fashion house's bold floral print; the resulting look is perfect for spring.
WHO: Gaia Repossi
WHAT: Spotted front row at the Celine F/W 11 show on Sunday.
WEAR: We love a clean, minimalist ensemble, and Gaia Repossi pulled this look off flawlessly--as she always does--for her appearance at the Celine F/W 11 show. The jewelry designer selected a shirt and slouchy trousers from the Parisian fashion house's S/S 11 collection, and though the silhouette is relaxed, the crisp white color palette makes for a fresh and chic ensemble. .
WHO: Georgia Jagger
WHAT: Snapped at an after-party celebrating her new line for Hudson last Thursday.
WEAR: There are many reasons why we adore Georgia Jagger--like her gorgeous pouty lips and luscious blonde locks, for starters--but her incredibly cool sense of style certainly takes the cake. Thusly, we were more than pleased to find the young model out and about during PFW. In the look above, the blonde bombshell wore a purple strapless top from Gucci's S/S 11 collection with black jeans from her new collection with Hudson. For her beauty look, Jagger went for a bright red lip and tousled hair--very Brigitte Bardot.
WHO: Anna Dello Russo
WHAT: Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the legendary fashion retailer Joyce last Thursday.
WEAR: While we certainly enjoy Anna Dello Russo's outrageous fashion moments, it's not all cherry-adorned hats and boldly striped frocks for this industry insider. The Vogue Japan Editor-at-Large wore Emilio Pucci's Embellished Short Dress ($7595) to a private dinner thrown by Joyce (the legendary retailer) held at the Shangri-La Hotel, demonstrating her ability to look just as noteworthy and memorable in a sober color palette. Though the neutral pick is decidedly tamer than some of her other ensembles this season, the frock's mirror embellishments, intricate beading, and tassel trim speaks to ADR's fashion-forward sensibilities.
WHO: Lily Allen
WHAT: Spotted arriving at the Chanel F/W 11 show on Tuesday.
WEAR: Sometimes a great coat is all you need to create a standout ensemble, as Lily Allen demonstrated at the Chanel F/W 11 show. The songstress kept cozy in a forest green tweed coat from the Pre-Fall 10 collection, which she kept buttoned so it doubled as a dress. Allen punctuated her muted ensemble with a bright red Chanel bag and lipstick, resulting in an excellent between-seasons look.
WHO: Lou Doillon
WHAT: Hanging out at the Vogue Paris party in honor of PFW at the Hotel de Crillon last Wednesday.
WEAR: Lou Doillon looked stylish as always at the Vogue Paris party last week. Demonstrating effortless layering, the French model/muse/actress wore a gray coat over Anthony Vaccarello's Cut-Out Dress ($454) and leather leggings. But that's not to say she didn't show off a little skin! The frock's sheer cutout and deep neckline gave the whole look a lovely hint of sex appeal.
WHO: Natalia Vodianova
WHAT: Spotted outside the Christian Dior F/W 11 show last Friday.
WEAR: Natalia Vodianova always knows how to capture our attention, whether it's on the pages of top-tier fashion magazines or with an effortless off-duty ensemble. Speaking of the latter, the Russian model looked ravishing in an olive green Givenchy dress from the fashion house's Pre-Fall 11 collection. Instead of opting for a chunky bib necklace, Vodianova kept her accessories simple, complimenting the frock's gorgeous draping detail with a long necklace and Christian Dior bag.
WHO: Miranda Kerr
WHAT: Arriving at the Balenciaga F/W 11 show at the Hotel de Crillon last Thursday.
WEAR: We're always excited to see Miranda Kerr's outfits, and were thrilled to spot the Aussie model on the streets of Paris last week. In town to walk in Balenciaga's runway show, Kerr went incognito in a floppy hat worn with a Rick Owens shearling jacket and a Balenciaga tote bag. Kudos to Miranda for donning a super-short mini--from Balenciaga's Pre-Fall 10 collection--just two months after giving birth to her baby boy!
WHO: Leigh Lezark
WHAT: Snapped at the Giambattista Valli F/W 11 show on Monday.
WEAR: Though we usually find Leigh Lezark in all-noir ensembles, it was a surprising treat to find the DJ/model showing off a splash of color for the Giambattista Valli show. Lezark wore a feline-print dress from the fashion house's S/S 11 collection and further accentuated the frock's lively nature with a red coat and t-strap heels, resulting in an eye-catching look we absolutely adore.
WHO: Emma Roberts
WHAT: Photographed outside the Chanel F/W 11 show on Tuesday.
WEAR: Emma Roberts is quite the stylish young lady and today's precious ensemble is certainly proof of that. The darling actress arrived at the Chanel F/W 11 show in the Sky Blue Embroidered Tweed Dress with Feather Trim ($15,465, 800.550.0005) from the fashion house's S/S 11 collection. Roberts finished her look with a white clutch, also by Chanel, and Brian Atwood's Maniac Pumps ($532) in Silver Metallic Patent Leather.
WHO: Natasha Poly
WHAT: Attending the Vogue Paris party in honor of PFW at the Hotel de Crillon last Wednesday.
WEAR: Natasha Poly certainly knows how to turn heads on the runway, but this time all eyes were on the off-duty ensemble she put together for the Vogue Paris party. The leggy model wore a long-sleeve mini from Balmain's F/W 10 collection with peep-toe leather boots by Miu Miu. Poly has a penchant for sporting edgier designers, and the result of this particular outfit is a tough-yet-chic look perfectly suited to Paris' directional fashion scene.--Jessica Baker, with additional reporting by Erin Fitzpatrick
