"Within the few weeks I've owned this sheer layering piece, it's proven itself very useful in my closet. You can wear it with a V-neck sweater on top, under a camisole, slip dress, or button-down shirt—the options are almost endless. It's the kind of trend-driven item that completely updates your wardrobe. In my book, those sort of pieces should be affordable, which this one gleefully is!" — Kat Collings
"Without a doubt, these Saint Laurent ankle boots are one of the best purchases I've made in my life. Since I bought them almost four years ago, I've gotten more use out of them than any other shoes in my closet combined, and continue to wear them multiple times a week. They go with jeans, dresses, skirts (both short and long), and anything else, really. Plus they continue to make them every year, and they've never gone on sale—in fact, they've increased in price—so I guess you could say my investment definitely paid off!" — Nicole Akhtarzad
"If there's one staple I absolutely could not live without in my closet, it's a classic moto jacket. My absolute favorite (seriously—the quality and fit are amazing) and the one I wear on repeat (i.e., daily) is this pick from L.A.-based line Laer. I wear it with everything from a tee and jeans to more dress-up pieces like a button-down and trousers." — Bobby Schuessler
"I admittedly own a lot of cropped denim flares (they're so flattering), but this pair from Madewell is the holy grail. Everything about them is perfect, from the rise to the inseam to the soft (yet firm) fabric. And they're wallet-friendlier than comparable pairs. Another piece that I'm glad I caved and purchased is my skinny Gucci belt. I honestly felt a little cliché buying it since they're everywhere, but it's actually quite classic, and I wear it even more frequently than I thought I would." — Allyson Payer
"I was a BIG fan of the puffer jacket trend in high school, which is why I was so hesitant to hop on the bandwagon when the silhouette returned this past year. But I picked up this shiny yet muted pink Topshop jacket right before fashion week, and it has (only slight exaggeration here) saved my life. It's warm, it's insanely cozy, and it has a great luster, which makes the piece feel just a bit more special when you're schlepping through a blizzard. Oh, and it's also currently on sale for under $100." — Gina Marinelli
"Although these Dolce slides seem kind of over-the-top, I can't stop wearing them. I wear them with festive socks in the winter and as is in the warmer months. They make any pair of jeans and a T-shirt look insanely cool and are a plausible option for a more formal look when I'm over heels.
"And I'd be lying if I said I only have one pair of go-to Levi's. I basically live in this denim brand and style. I love the high waist and vintage feel." — Lauren Eggertsen
"I can't always buy the pieces I write about—I would spend way too much money!—but I bought this particular jacket after I wrote a story on Bella Hadid wearing it. I'm super happy with it because I can throw it on over jeans and a T-shirt, and it makes my outfit instantly polished. Plus, I've gotten lots of compliments on it!" — Erin Fitzpatrick
