Envy-Inducing Green Eye Makeup
Wearing color on your face—whether it’s a hot pink lip or saturated blush—is intimidating, especially without a makeup artist on hand. Green sounds especially scary, but stars like Elle Fanning and Emma Stone make it look easy.
Stone’s makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, took it up a notch, turning the color sultry at the Gangster Squad premiere. “I wanted to create a very glamorous look so I played with jewel tones on the eyes and lips,” Goodwin says. She blended Revlon’s Photoready Primer + Shadow ($9) in Pop Art all around the actress’ eyes, then wet the shadow and applied it as a liner with a thin brush for added intensity. Even though Stone would be under bright lights, Goodwin skipped powder. “Keep the skin looking dewy for a modern twist,” she advises when playing with color. Apparently, green is good.
