Emma Stone Wore the '80s Trend That's Going to Be Everywhere

Emma Stone, a Golden Globe Awards best actress nominee for La La Land, attended a W Magazine pre-Golden Globes event last night at frequent award season party location the Chateau Marmont. Naturally, the actress showed up in the perfect festive look to kick off award season: a ruffled yellow (her favorite color to wear) Gucci dress that was perfectly complemented by her metallic pink heels (also Gucci).

Gucci has been one of the brands to watch since creative director Alessandro Michele took the helm, as it's determined some of the biggest trends each season, and S/S 17 is no exception. Stone's dress featured a trend that everyone is talking about for spring: the one-shoulder look. The style was huge in the '80s, which is an overarching theme for many of the spring collections, Gucci included. While off-the-shoulder dresses and tops were arguably the biggest trend of S/S 16, one-shoulder looks are poised to match their popularity in 2017.
