If hosting a chic holiday party ranks high on your to-do list this season, the first thing you do is acquire the perfect bottle of bubbly, and the second? Go pinning for festive ideas, of course! When it comes to pre-fete planning, Taylor Sterling, Glitter Guide founder and creative director, has plenty of imaginative and nifty party pointers that are sure to spice up your seasonal get-togethers. Today, she teams up with Chandon to show you just how easy it is to make a party “pop.” (Don’t worry, you’ll get it in a minute.)
“Your hostess outfit should go with the theme of the party, but it doesn't have to be too literal. Simply wear a color that matches a color in the decorations. Make sure it feels right for the occasion too. If it's fancy and fun, try to have your outfit match the vibe. We went with a Kate Spade New York cocktail dress in hot pink. It's playful and vibrant—just like our party.”

“Frances Lane provided the beautiful vintage glassware; gold is our go-to and we couldn't resist including it at our party!”
“We worked with Brown Paper Design to create all of the vibrant florals. We especially loved the installation that hung from the ceiling.”
"Of course there was a styled bar cart full of Chandon and lots of vintage barware and curiosities, a great conversation starter for any get-together."
