Welcome back to our organizational series where once a month we’ll roll out a new closet-related topic with expert-approved tips and advice. With us this month is Melanie Charlton from Clos-ette, who will be sharing her organizational insight.
Organization doesn't have to stop at your closet. Bring that know-how to your dresser! Dressers can hold just about anything, whether it's clothing, jewelry—even bags. They are an incredibly versatile storage space, which is why you should take advantage of all they have to offer. With the addition of a few simple items, you may find your dresser to be your favorite place to store items. Keep scrolling for my four ways to keep your dresser's contents visible and ready to wear!
I love using inserts that have enough space for each type of jewelry. Using watch pillows is a great way to keep watches organized within inserts.
Trays are wonderful for organizing large items like perfume and candles. Stack valet trays on top for your cash, keys, and credit cards!
I love to have a mirror to check my look before I leave the room, and I always frame it with a pegboard. With the pegboard you get instant storage for costume jewelry, scarves, bags, and sunglasses!
There's nothing better than having intimates individually folded for maximizing space. Plus, this ensures that smaller items don't get hidden in the back of drawers. Another little trick I love to use with dividers? They are great to keep lined up clutches, wallets, and coin purses organized.
