How to Shop Like a Local When You're in Chicago
If we're talking shopping destinations, New York City or Los Angeles may be the first cities that come to mind. But, around the U.S. there are plenty of cities with their own cool spots worth stopping by when you find yourself in town. Right now, it's Chicago we have our eyes on. From cool thrift stores to a cult sportswear mecca, the windy city is quietly earning itself a sartorial reputation.
Whether you're a midwesterner or stopping in on your way to the coast, there's no denying that Chicago's stylish locals have some impressively chic options. Below we're sharing seven spots to star on Google Maps before you touch down in Chi-Town. But, just in case you can't make it in anytime soon, we're including a little bit of shopping, too. We rounded up a few picks from the stores and brands you'll find when you visit in person (or online!). See the shops you need to visit below (but make sure to stop for deep-dish too).
