You'll Love This DIY Party Clutch For The Holidays And Beyond

'Tis the season of festive crafts—gingerbread houses, popcorn garland, and decorative cookies, included—so today’s Do It Yourself story couldn’t come at a more fitting time. Inspired by the pearl-encrusted clutches from the Valentino F/W 13 runway, we’re showing you how to make a party clutch so chic you’ll want to carry it all season long!

    The Inspiration

    The Ingredients

    -Deena & Ozzy Hard-Case Wallet Clutch ($10)

    -Flat Back Studs ($5)

    -Flat Back Pearls ($3)

    -Glue Gun ($17)

    -Super Glue ($6)

    Step One: Cut It

    Cut individual pearls from the strand with scissors. You will need approximately 24 pearls for each side of the bag.

    Step Two: Glue It

    Using a hot glue gun, attach the flat back studs to the top of each pearl. Wait 10 minutes or until completely dry.

    Step Three: Adhere It

    Attached each pearl embellishment with super glue to the surface of the clutch. (Note: Domesek created a grid with six pearls across and four down, leaving about half an inch between each.)
