The Jeans We Never Thought Would Return Are Back
Quick—what's the first denim trend that comes to mind when you think of Britney and Christina circa 2002? If you guessed low-rise jeans, you're correct. Come on, we all wore "hip huggers" when they resurged back then, right? (Fun fact: They first appeared on the scene back in the '60s). Well, despite the rise (literally) in high-rise denim silhouettes over the last few seasons, it seems the lower-rise styles are cropping up again. That's right—turn to some of the biggest street style stars, like Hailey Baldwin, Kendall Jenner, and Chiara Ferragni, and you're sure to spot a variety of denim picks—from wide-leg styles to skinnier finds—that hit right at their hips. While this particular look isn't appropriate for all occasions (like how a pair of nice, high-rise jeans can totally work for casual Friday with a pretty blouse), we're on board with testing out the look for off-duty life.
Go on to check out a few of the fashion A-listers who are bringing back low-rise jeans. Plus, go a bit further to shop some of our favorite pairs you can buy right now.

Low-rise skinnies can totally work for the office (especially if you go for something sophisticated up top like a button-down).
