Kime Buzzelli for Vans
While the former certainly didn't shock us (after all, cool kids everywhere love Vans), the latter was a pleasantly fashion-forward surprise. Buzzelli's taste and talent is well documented--she's an LA-based artist and designer, former boutique owner, and the current assistant costume designer for 90210--so we were delighted that she brought her spot-on sensibilities to this collaboration. We selected a smattering of our favorite pieces for your perusal today, but definitely visit Vans.com to see the entire collection!
Kime Buzzelli Wellesley Sneakers ($55)
Forget Spicoli and his black-and-white checkerboard slip-ons, we'll take these sketch-detailed lace-ups any day! Available in black, as seen above, or a beautiful turquoise blue hue, these high-top sneakers will make any outfit pop.
Kime Buzzelli Printed Jacket ($98)
Everyone needs a little leather jacket, but no matter if you have dozens of styles in your closet or zero, you'll want to grab this amazing faux version. Buzzelli gave the jacket's classic lines a slightly soft redesign and tricked out the inside with a colorful lining made from her art. In short: it's a must-have wardrobe essential with a personal touch!
Kime Buzzelli Skinny Fit Jeans ($54)
While normally skinny jeans aren't particularly noteworthy, Buzzelli's favorite pair was the inspiration for this exact pair. That means they have a memorably flattering fit, plus we think the soft black wash is just stellar.
Kime Buzzelli Sorry is For Suckers Tee ($26)
The entire theme for Kime Buzzelli for Vans collection is "Sorry is for Suckers," a motto that is perfectly embodied by this white v-neck t-shirt. In addition to the beautiful graphics on the front of the shirt, the back features additional designs with a slightly softer look.
Kime Buzzelli Peace Girl Tee ($26)
Who could resist the hand-drawn images on this gray scoop neck t-shirt? While the top has a totally modern vibe, there's also something so gorgeously deco about the print. Plus, it's the perfect layering piece!
Kime Buzzelli Sorry is for Suckers Tote ($38)
We're officially retiring our scrubby gym bags and boring work totes. Going forward, we will use only this beautifully sketched carryall, as it's the perfect antidote to all the sub-par styles out there. The cotton canvas is practical while the original artwork will bring a much-needed dose of fantasy to even our most mundane tasks.
