Gucci Hysteria Collection

Gucci Hysteria Collection
We always keep an eye on the latest lovely Gucci bags, but this season weÂ've developed a bit of a staring problem. The reason for our fixation is simple: the fall handbag collection is particularly exemplary and itÂ's a challenge to look away from the gorgeous options.

The fresh fabrics and finishes (weÂ're particularly keen on the luxe carpet bags ourselves) will no doubt provoke a commotion amongst the stylish celebs and fashionable tastemakers alike. We could see Rihanna falling for the new Crystal GG ToteÂ's subtle sheen in a heartbeat (the just-launched GG Crystal Collection gives the traditional Gucci logo fabric a glossy finish). Gwyneth Paltrow would pick the large brown Python Tote with double handles because itÂ's practical, but still looks super-polished and chic. As for the Ivory Tapestry Top Handle Bag, we think itÂ's perfectly in keeping with Mischa BartonÂ's glamorous hippie style.

1. Hysteria Crystal GG Tote and Clutch ($995 and $575)
Frida Giannini, GucciÂ's Creative Director, re-imagined the classic double GG fabric with a modern gleam. The Crystal GG Collection features the updated beige/ebony jacquard fabric, now with a patent leather look. The large tote comes with brown leather trim and gold hardware and the clutch has a zipÂ-top closure and tie details.

2. Hysteria Python Tote ($4590)
This season, Gucci is offering the Large Hysteria Tote in exotic brown python. As always, the Hysteria Tote has double handles, side ties, and the signature Gucci crest on the front of the bag.

3. Hysteria Crystal GG Evening Clutch ($575)
The petite dimensions (itÂ's less than a foot long) and neutral color palette means you could carry this clutch with an incredibly wide range of outfits.

4. Hysteria Medium Ivory Tapestry Top Handle Bag ($1295)
The Ivory Tapestry Top Handle has such a cool seventies vibe and itÂ's sure to sell-out shortly. We adore the bagÂ's printed tapestry fabric, detachable shoulder strap, and of-the-moment spirit and look.
