I'm Finally Wearing Jeans Again—Here Are the Cute Outfits I'm Saving
If you told me at the beginning of the year to write a jeans outfit story, I’d probably look at you in horror. My wardrobe the past year was quite standard—leggings, sweatpants, and pajamas. But I’ve neglected my jeans for far too long, and I’m ready to pull out my once-loved closet staple again. If you’re in the same boat, I figured laid-back yet elevated denim outfits would be of interest because although we want to take a break from our loungewear, I don’t think many of us are ready to forgo the comfort we’ve gotten accustomed to at home.
To ensure you’ve got a stylish set of denim outfit combinations this fall, I did an intense Instagram scroll to find the perfect outfit formulas that won’t drive you too much out of your comfort zone. I was pretty successful in my research, and you can scroll below to have a look for yourself. I can guarantee your go-to jeans outfit is sitting among the selection below.
I’m still not over tie-dye and will gladly be wearing it into the colder months.
Not only is a button-down comfortable, but it’s also almost foolproof over denim. Talk about a five-minute outfit.
Instead of a plain black tee, a plissé top is a simple yet elevated piece to pair with jeans.
Wear the most fun blouse you own, and you’ve got yourself a very Instagram-friendly outfit. If it’s neon, even better.
A top is an easy yet subtle way to add the leather trend to your look.
This look may be simple, but the silk scarf makes all the difference. Also, crossover denim just might become a jeans staple for me.
There will never be a time when head-to-toe black is not a sleek ensemble.
Out of all the fall trends, sweater-vests might be my personal favorite. Whether you’re eying a fun print or something more neutral, it pairs perfectly with your denim.
Leather bomber jackets are the it-item I'll be buying for fall.
A shacket makes everything better, especially in this very autumnal plaid print.
I can’t think of a more comfortable way to transition back into wearing jeans.
Ever since Katie Holmes was spotted in the Khaite coordinating cardigan set in 2019, it’s an outfit combo I can’t stop thinking about.
This will be my new fall uniform. I just can’t say no to a graphic T-shirt, oversize blazer, and jeans. The combo always works. Just look to Hailey Bieber for proof.
If oversize isn’t your vibe, a structured blazer makes a polished Parisian look.
Take a different approach with a leather jacket and opt for a boxier silhouette.
Play around with layering by adding a corset over your tee. I promise it’ll look good.
Throwing a sweater over your shoulders and adding comfy sneakers gives your tailoring a more relaxed feel.
It may be tempting to pull on leggings underneath your shirtdress, but jeans will make a much more streamlined outfit.
Suddenly, I need to add more hats to my collection.
