    Blake Lively in Chanel

Ever since Lively shone in an iridescent gown from Chanel’s Spring 2014 couture collection at the Cannes Film Festival, we’ve been dying to see her wear another dress from the brand. This one would be just perfect.

    Olivia Palermo in Elie Saab

While this dress didn’t make the cut for Palermo’s favorite couture dresses of the season, we totally think it should have. The pastel blue falls in line with her predilection for soft, feminine colors, and the asymmetrical fur sash adds just the right amount of drama.

    Rooney Mara in Armani Privé

Only Mara could pull off this avant-garde gown in a daring red color. With a sleek bun pulled tightly on top of her head and her cheekbones on prominent display, she would absolutely kill it in this dress, which was the final look at Armani’s show.

    Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab

Though recently Jolie’s red carpet choices have been almost entirely black gowns, we would love to see her change it up in this absolutely stunning beaded champagne gown. The pockets add a modern twist that we think Jolie would love.

    Rihanna in Zuhair Murad

The queen of the red carpet needs an appropriately regal gown to make an entrance—this black-and-white Murad creation would do the trick. With a thigh-high center slit, a deep-plunging neckline, and geometric mesh cutouts throughout, it’s practically made for Rihanna.

    Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

As the face of Dior, Lawrence is bound to wear her fair share of the fashion house’s dresses again this season. As is her wont, she will probably be drawn to simpler dresses with clean lines and classic colorways—this all-white, architectural dress would be perfect on her.

    Selena Gomez in Versace

Gomez is a fan of the Italian house’s sexy designs, and we can see her rocking this gorgeously beaded, high-slit number for the Grammy Awards or any of the other major award shows.

    Jessica Biel in Giambattista Valli

A known friend of the designer and fan of his designs, Biel would look ravishing in this poofy mint-green creation. Complete with the head wrap, the look would give Mrs. Timberlake quite a different vibe than what we’re used to seeing from her.

    Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille

The lithe former dancer needs a dress that shows off her lithe frame while still remaining classically gorgeous. This Mabille design offers the best of both worlds.

    Carey Mulligan in Ulyana Sergeenko

Rising designer Ulyana Sergeenko is gaining some major traction amongst the fashion-forward celebrity crowd. Mulligan would look fabulously dainty, but simultaneously glamorous, in this feather-necked lace gown.

    Taylor Swift in Chanel

Swift loves a column dress, usually reaching for slinky, sparkly numbers by J. Mendel. But we’d like to see her take a risk in this feather-adorned Chanel number, complete with exquisite embroidery and a feather train.

    Gwyneth Paltrow in Giambattista Valli

We all know Paltrow loves a cape—and this gorgeous all-white design was basically deisgned for her. With the addition of the elaborate rose gold belt at her waist, she would look stunning in this dramatic gown.

    Naomi Watts in Alexis Mabille

While Watts typically favors more big-name designer brands like Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen, we’d love to see her in this delicate lace Mabille dress—with an added touch of sex appeal thanks to the plunging neckline.

    Kim Kardashian in Ulyana Sergeenko

Kardashian recently proclaimed her love for Sergeenko’s designs on Instagram, and her A-line lace dress was practically made for her. Complete with waist-high slit and super sexy with a pair of sky-high stilettos, the dress would hug Kardashian’s curves in all the right places.

    Cate Blanchett in Giambattista Valli

A woman who can pretty much pull off any kind of attire she wants, Blanchett deserves a gown fit for a queen—something this royal purple Valli creation offers in plentitude. The dramatic draping would look perfect on her slender frame.

    Iggy Azalea in Elie Saab

We learned from Azalea’s stylist James Knox that the Australian rapper has a soft spot in her heart for Saab, and this gown would be absolutely killer on her. Complete with an intricate lace cape, the dress would take Azalea’s red carpet game to an entirely new level.

    Solange Knowles in Valentino

Only Solange could pull off a modern art-inspired skirt like the one Valentino’s show closed with. Combined with the sheer asymmetrical neckline, this gown would be killer on her.

    Christina Hendricks in Elie Saab

Mad Men’s token redhead bombshell, Hendricks always looks fantastic in a vivid blue look. This dress would hug her famous curves in all the right places, and the glitter of the thousands of beads would add an undeniable glamour.

Rita Ora in Viktor & Rolf

Only someone with a bold a style as Rita Ora could pull off any dress from Viktor & Rolf’s collection, which was constructed entirely of red carpets. We would love her in this cocktail-length dress, with a pair of high strappy nude sandals completing the look.

    Keira Knightley in Valentino

Known for wearing incredibly feminine designs with lots of lace and beading, Knightley is bound to wear this glittery silver gown at some point.

    Beyoncé in Vionnet

This dress would be a departure for the pop star, who tends much more toward body-contouring gowns for her red carpet appearances. But we just love the subtle mermaid cut of the hem, the modern striped print, and the dramatic neckline—it would be perfect on Beyoncé.

    Diane Kruger in Vionnet

It takes a seriously daring style star to pull off this incredibly avant-garde number. After racking our brains for ideas, we settled on Diane Kruger, whose ability to wear just about every silhouette and color combination makes her the perfect candidate for this lace-and-silk creation.

    Kate Bosworth in Vionnet

The boning in the bodice of this simple but beautiful gown would suit Bosworth’s petite frame, and the deep navy color would be simply stunning on her.

    Olivia Wilde in Zuhair Murad

The metallic threading, deep-plunging neckline, and dramatic sleeves on this gown beg for an ultra-sexy woman like Wilde to breathe life into it. She could pull it off very well.
