Whoa: Coachella Creators Are Launching an NYC Festival

Erin Fitzpatrick

It's time to get excited because Coachella is coming to the East Coast—well, sort of. Billboard reports that Goldenvoice, the event company behind the fashionable festival, has just announced a new iteration called Panorama that will invade New York City this summer. The festival will set up camp at Randall's Island Park on July 22–24.

"We look forward to bringing Panorama to New York City and introducing a new festival that showcases today's top music acts,"Goldenvoice festival producer Mark Shulman said in a statement. "We're committed to creating an event that will provide significant benefits to New York City with the level of experience and meticulous attention to detail for which Goldenvoice is known." Only time will tell if the lineup will be as star-studded as Coachella, but we have a feeling the fest will have no problem attracting the stylish set.
