Take a Peek Inside Carissa Alvarado's Manhattan Beach Closet

Moving is a part of life, and as everyone who's done it at least once can attest, certain areas of the process can start to feel overwhelming quickly. That's especially true when it comes to moving your closet. But that wasn't the case for fashion blogger and musician Carissa Alvarado, who saw her recent move as an opportunity to get off to a running start on transitioning her wardrobe from summer to fall by simply keying in on her most-wanted pieces during the unpacking process. (Closet MVPs included a beloved slip dress, mules, and lots of PANDORA Jewelry.) We saw her closet strategy in action when we toured her new Manhattan Beach home and learned that she converted an entire second-level bedroom into a walk-in (and then some) closet.

Keep scrolling to tour Alvarado's closet and see the pieces she's planning to wear through the season.

My favorite tip for staying organized is to always have a clothing rack handy; that way I can see all my favorite pieces right in front of me.

“I took my favorite summer slip dress and made it more fall-friendly with an amazing green sweater, paired PANDORA Jewelry in 14k gold and sterling silver to make an effortless outfit pop even more."
“I love to rotate my jewelry the same way I do with my most-wanted pieces on my clothing rack. Keeping a side table nearby is key for displaying statement PANDORA pieces I love to wear with every outfit.”

When it comes to getting my closet ready for a new season, thinking transitionally is key.

“Though the weather is on the warmer side, I still find a way to layer. Mixing and matching PANDORA Jewelry is an amazing way to add instant sophistication to my favorite black tee and jeans look.”
“Layering necklaces is key, and stacking PANDORA charms at different lengths is an unexpected way to make an outfit feel fresh.”

My most-wanted trends right now? Definitely fringe, velvet, denim, and mixed metals.

“I have my eye on sterling silver metals. Navy is such a great transitional color, and silver jewelry stands out really great against it.”
“When I accessorize, I make sure to pick things that shine. I like things that pop and add a nice story to my outfit.”
