“I like to work out in the morning. It not only keeps me in shape, it’s also great ‘me’ time. I get most of my ideas and inspiration when I work out, because this is when I really get to meditate and focus.”
“We all love to dream big set big goals, but there are small accomplishments that happen every day. I like to measure my success by the little things, like being able to get home in time to spend some quiet time with Chloe and to put her to bed. Don’t discount the small things, because they’re very meaningful!”
“I constantly struggle with trying to balance work life and mom life. It’s never really a perfect harmony, but I do the best I can. When I get home at the end of a workday, I make it a priority to completely unplug. It’s really important for me to give 100% to everything I do, and spending time with my daughter is no different.”
“If you’re trying to get your blog off the ground, I can’t stress how important networking is. When I first started out, I tried to meet as many people within the industry as I could. The relationships that I had developed eventually led to some amazing collaborations. Create your own opportunities.”
“I think I spent most of my 20s worrying and comparing myself to others. I remember comparing myself to others and wishing I had this or that, and honestly it was exhausting. I now know that everyone has their own unique journey and their own time and place for things.”
“Having an outfit or a particular piece that you feel confident in can make all the difference. For me, it’s wide-leg pants. I like to wear a simple and classic blouse when I wear wide-leg trousers to balance out the look. Nude heels are a great work option, and they go with everything. I finished off my boss look with an amazing blazer. Once you find a look that works for you, stick with it.”
