Chloë Grace Moretz Reveals a Surprising Backup Career Choice

Erin Fitzpatrick

Chloë Grace Moretz has serious acting chops that belie her 18 years—she's held her own in both action movies (Kick Ass) and dramas (If I Stay). But what if she hadn't caught the acting bug so early? In the December issue of Nylon, cover star Moretz told the magazine that she'd go into politics.

“I’m ready, guys: Youngest female president ever!” she told Nylon. “I don’t know…maybe not president. I might just be a senator. We’ll see.” She went on to say who she's backing next year (Hillary Clinton) and tell an anecdote about how she encouraged a friend to watch the Democratic debate on TV instead of go out to a bar. "These are the first debates that we can watch as voters of the next president of the United States," she told the magazine. "That’s a huge deal, and a right people take for granted. We’re the youth of America—we can make true change in the world.”
