Harriet Byczok, Maisie Williams's stylist, tells us the one trend she's most excited by this season is deconstructed shirting. "This season allows us to reuse our wardrobe staples and add a stylish twist," she explains. "My key purchase this season would be shirts so I can do the buttons up wrong for work, wear it one-shouldered for a night out or wear it unbuttoned and tie a knot at the bottom for the beach."

Micaela Erlanger, a stylist to Lupita Nyong'o, Meryl Streep and Michelle Dockery, struggles to pick just one trend. Her picks? "Mules, slides and micro bags are the three must-haves this spring," she tells us. So it's clearly all about the spring accessory.

Anita Patrickson, a stylist to Olivia Culpo, Michelle Rodriguez and more, tells us this summer she's really into retro stripes. "The more the merrier, feel free to mix and match different striped prints as well! Add some fabulous statement earrings or a great belt to break things up."

Tara Swennen, Kristen Stewart's longtime stylist, says the one piece to really invest in this season is a pair of statement ankle boots. "Spring boots are popping up in a variety of shades and textures this season—some have cutouts or might be easier worn with nothing underneath, such as built-in sock boots." Her insider top tip when it comes to summer footwear is to stock up on Pre Heels spray: "You spray it quickly on your heels or toes before you head or the door, and it helps prevent irritation and blistering."

Rebecca Corbin-Murray

Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Who What Wear UK columnist and stylist to Emma Watson, Lily James, Jenna Coleman, says: "If there's one colour you need in your wardrobe this season, it's pink. From blush to fuchsia you can go head-to-toe or add as an accent to a more muted look. If you want catwalk references, see Céline, Chanel, Valentino, Alexander Wang and Michael Kors for fast inspiration." She adds: "If you're feeling brave and looking for that statement outfit, I'd recommend clashing a hot-pink skirt with a Hollywood-red blouse. This is undoubtedly your shade this summer."
