You'll Never Guess Which Huge Country Star Is Showing at NYFW

Carrie Underwood will now add New York Fashion Week designer to her résumé. As Fashionsta pointed out from WWD, Carrie will show her recently-launched Calia activewear line. While she is presenting at NYFW, it won't be so much a full-on runway show as it will be a presentation and pop-up shop, where attendees can shop the collection right there.

As WWD highlighted, Underwood said that as a spectator, she’s often frustrated that she has to wait six months before she can buy the merchandise she sees on the runway. “I sit in the audience and say, ‘Oh, I love that,’ but then realise, ‘Oh, I have to wait.’ But with this, people can see what we’re working on right now and buy it immediately. I love that, and I hope they will, too,” Carrie said. So interesting.

What do you think? Would you want to go to Carrie's presentation? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. And if you're interested in shopping Calia right now, you can do that right here!
