The Spring Shoe Trend You Haven't Tried (But Should)

Erin Fitzpatrick

So, your spring closet is already stocked with sneakers, flat sandals, and ankle boots. What's missing? A pair of clogs! When we came across San Francisco–based brand Bryr, we were immediately convinced our wardrobes would not be complete without a pair.

Our favorite fun fact about the brand? Each and every shoe is completely handmade by the founder Isobel Schofield and her small team using traditional European wood bases and American leathers. It's the very antithesis of fast fashion: Due to the hands-on process, your made-to-order clogs will take 30 days to produce.

"We believe whole-heartedly in the intrinsic value of well-made things," Bryr's website reads. "With a nod towards '70s California design and a closet full of vintage clogs, we hope to bring a modern eye to classic craftsmanship."
