Much of Oscar de la Renta's F/W 13 runway show was what we've come to expect from the celebrated designer"sophisticated daywear, brilliant jewel-tone evening dresses, and dramatic ball gowns worthy of a staircase-descending moment. There was certainly John Galliano in the mix, felt from his signature nipped-waist jackets to the smoky eye and perfectly greased hair. The resulting collection, a mix of eye-popping colors and exaggerated silhouettes, was a happy marriage of the two designers' exquisite sensibilities.
