Gia Coppola: Director, Muse And Now, Editor!

Seems like directing isn’t the only artistic trait that runs deep in the Coppola DNA. While Sofia was busy editing a special summer issue of W, her niece, Gia, was quietly working with e-commerce site Farfetch to curate a capsule boutique of her summer favorites.  The launch also happens to coincide with another one of Gia’s projects: the release of her first feature film, Palo Alto. While the movie, adapted from a book of short stories penned by James Franco (yes, that James Franco!), features Emma Roberts and other Hollywood rising stars as high school students, the young director’s fashion edit on the global site is anything but sophomoric.  A mix of sophisticated pieces such as a boxy, beaded Saint Laurent jacket, a minimalist Proenza Schouler frock, and a sweet bow blouse from Chloe are among her picks. The bonus? Gia stepped in front of the camera for this endeavor, posing on the streets to model her favorites. Shop the selection and see the images on
