Who What Wear is seeking a full-time Ad Operations Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a sharp, self-motivated individual that has a strong interest and understanding of the online advertising space, as he/she will play an integral role in inventory management, trafficking, reporting and optimization. This position is a dynamic and challenging opportunity with room for growth within the company.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Interact and coordinate with internal departments (Ad Sales, Editorial, Marketing) to input campaigns into internal and third party systems, resolve inventory conflicts and meet production timelines

- Setup, modify and manage ad serving systems, overseeing scheduling, testing, production and implementation of online ad campaigns to ensure timely start and full delivery of campaigns

- Perform daily trafficking & QA for advertising campaigns

- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, suggesting optimizations as needed to deliver on client objectives

- Troubleshoot issues and provide support for campaigns when technical issues arise

- Identify new revenue opportunities based on industry best practices, competitor efforts and client needs

- Provide and maintain ad specs as needed

- Define and communicate technical requirements for enhancements to the web site CMS as needed to meet the custmization requirements of advertisers

- Manage and oversee the inflow of technical implementation requests related to ad serving

- Develop company workflows and project management processes for managing technical implementation requests originating from sales and product development stakeholders

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree Required

- Minimum 5 years experience in advertising operations or campaign management (Agency, Advertiser or Publisher)

- Expert knowledge of Doubleclick/DFP (DART for Publishers), and technical issues related to ad serving via HTML5, Javascript, Flash and Rich Media Technologies

- Experience configuring and managing online advertising campaigns and thorough understanding of major success metrics: conversions, target CPA’s, etc.

- Extensive knowledge in the online advertising space, working with ad trafficking including hands-on troubleshooting and customization experience with different types of Ad Tags, browser compatibility issues and troubleshooting of trafficking issues

- Ability and desire to build an Ad Operations team from the ground up

- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet tight deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Possess creative problem solving and analytical skills coupled with the ability to act independently across competing priorities

- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented

- Strong project management and communication skills

 

COMPENSATION


This is a full-time salaried position located in Los Angeles. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Who What Wear is seeking a full-time Product Manager to help drive our company’s product vision and roadmap. This role requires someone with strong business judgment, a thorough understanding of current web trends and technologies & product management best practices while keeping in mind the consumer experience. We are looking for someone with a passion for ideating and conceptualizing best in class web products and experiences, and who can translate these qualities into winning Internet products and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the online media/advertising/e-commerce space, along with extensive experience in managing all aspects of the product lifecycle including product strategy development, product roadmap management, defining requirements and documentation, product marketing, implementation, analyzing business metrics and iterative improvements.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Inform product roadmap with new, metrics-based ideas to enhance user experience, existing site functionality and introduce new features that align with Who What Wear’s business objectives, which may include site re-designs, site optimizations and new product launches

- Lead and implement various product initiatives from conception to launch

- Continuously monitor and assess site performance and user feedback in order to drive informed product decisions for enhancement and improvement

- Conduct and lead project definition activities including business and functional requirements gathering, site assessment, competitive analysis, etc.

- Own project roadmaps and drive deliverables to completion

- Maintain a deep understanding of all emerging digital media platforms and articulate developments, trends and opportunities

- Work closely with operations, creative, technology and development teams to plan and launch projects on time, on budget and on-spec

- Identify potential project risks and clearly present scope/schedule/ budget tradeoffs to senior management

- Facilitate communication throughout the development process between multiple internal teams including engineering, marketing, operations, sales and advertising

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in order to provide sound product recommendations and updates to executive management

- Assist in defining an internal project development process and standardized workflow for product execution within the company

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5+ years of overall product management experience

- Comfortable managing and interacting with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders, such as Creative and Developers

- Heavy analytical, problem solving, project management and organizational skills

- A passion for usability and a good eye for consumer-friendly design & strong attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong leadership instincts, business judgment, understanding of current web trends and technologies, and mastery of product management best practices

- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary web teams

- Demonstrated ability to develop processes and workflows within a rapidly growing organization

- Solid understanding of advertising performance and site monetization in order to incorporate into product features seamlessly

- Exceptional organizational and quantitative analytical skills

- Experience with site optimization and using A/B multivariate testing

- Proven ability to distill business and product requirements into actionable tasks for creative and development team members

- Understanding of information architecture strongly preferred

- Experience with user experience documentation including sitemaps, wireframes, interaction designs, use cases and navigation models strongly preferred

- UX/UI design experience a plus

- Front end programming skills a plus

The Campaign Manager will play an integral role at Who What Wear with exposure to all departments within the organization as well as key external clients. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer with dotted line reporting to the Ad Sales Department, he/she is responsible for the execution management of client ad campaigns once the contract is signed, and facilitating them through final delivery. He/she manages all interactions with assigned external clients and ensures smooth delivery of projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations. Projects include execution of integrated online marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, offline events, email campaigns, and sweepstakes.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple client accounts once an advertising sales contract and/or partnership agreement has been signed 

Communicate with clients through all phases of engagement, keeping them informed and managing their expectations with excellent follow through, and professionalism 

- Manage a cross-functional team of creative/art team, editorial team, programmers and ad operations to fulfill client deliverables on time, and within budget while meeting and exceeding performance and quality expectations

- Analyze campaigns and communicate with agency and client teams to optimize performance and deliver on client objectives

- Prepare complete post-campaign reports, analyzing, quantifying and interpreting results to improve on our offerings on a regular basis

- Manage the ad sales calendar

- Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding any changes in scope, schedule, resource requirements or issues that require senior management attention

- Collaborate with and guide creative team to ensure creative execution and messaging is optimal for client objectives

- Identify opportunities to deliver additional solutions and expand the scope of client engagements

- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and other information beneficial to clients and partners

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree required

- 5+ years prior Trafficking/Campaign Management experience preferred in Online Media/E-Commerce company

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics, social media trends and online advertising performance metrics and concepts

- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Rich Media, CRM systems (Salesforce) a plus

- Strong knowledge of interactive media production and processes

- QA experience for online and/or interactive projects

- Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude willing and able take a proactive approach in solving problems

- Works well in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

- Exceptional time management and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed

- Ability to work calmly under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability

- Highly organized and reliable with strong attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface well with diverse personalities from different disciplines

- Interest in fashion and beauty, and knowledge of key brands and stakeholders in the space is preferred
