After the Prova presentation, we headed over to see Rachel Roy’s collection at Cedar Lake. As many people have mentioned on Twitter, the neo-Cleo eye was insanely gorgeous (Cleopatra-ish in a very modern way, the models had on super dark eye makeup that reminded me a bit of a peacock feather. It was technically black but had lots of green/blue iridescence in it too, so stunning.) Loved all the cocktail separates, which included a number of bodysuits-like shells paired with velvet pencil skirts. Also noted another black lace blouse (first at Charlotte Ronson, then Alexander Wang)—three examples officially makes it a trend!
