Bella Hadid Proves These 2016 Trends Won't Be Dying Out Anytime Soon

There's no denying Bella Hadid is a '90s child at heart, but right now she's all about pieces from 2016 (albeit the year's most retro stylings). While in Paris for haute couture fashion week, she's broken out some of the biggest trends from last year—proving their staying power as we continue into 2017.

Most recently, she sported two major 2016 trends at the same time, pairing her now-sold-out Re/Done patchwork jeans with white ankle boots. Two-tone denim was one of our favorite jean iterations to take over last year, and the look is as fresh as ever reappearing this January. As for the shoes, the once-"ugly" boot trend that was everywhere at the start of winter is still a mainstay of fashion-girl dressing, as it adds a pop of unexpected white to any look and performs well as a forward alternative to the classic black ankle boot.

Hadid topped off her look with a black leather biker jacket belted at the waist over a black tee, allowing her statement pieces speak for themselves.
