New & Notable
Maybe it's just us, but there's something about high summer that makes us want to play with our beauty routines. Bored with our spring clothes but not quite ready to dive into fall fashion, this time of year always inspires us to think of other ways to spruce up our daily look. Fortunately there are loads of amazing new beauty items on the market, which makes our desire for experimentation incredibly easy to facilitate! After testing out countless cool products, we've rounded up our personal favorites for today's Beauty Board and are pretty certain you're going to love them too. From smudge-proof liner to scent-free tanners, we've got everything you need to beat the heat beautifully!

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector ($14)
We aspire to wearing less makeup in the summer--bright sunlight + heavy products = scary mess--but that means whatever we do use has to work hard and look ultra-natural. It's a tough combo to find, but happily Neutrogena's new de-puffing Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector does both like a dream. The do-it-all concealer hides dark circles, camouflages under-eye bags, and protects your skin with its SPF 25 formula, plus it's incredibly affordable (about a third of the price of YSL's cult favorite, Touche Eclat)! Wear it under eye shadow or alone, either way you'll look bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and completely beautiful.

mark. Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow ($10) in Iconic
Whether you're heading to the beach or planning a night out on the town, when the weather's hot and humid, you need eye makeup with staying power. If you've been searching for a product that performs perfectly under such extreme conditions and looks gorgeous while doing so, we'd like to introduce you to mark.'s new Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow. Unlike cream shadows and pencil liners, mark.'s waterproof formula won't crease under pressure and resists smudging--no matter how sweaty you get. While it comes in a variety of hues, we especially love the khaki green and gold Iconic duo, they're the perfect sexy shades for summer!

eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream ($4) in Lavender Jasmine
It's hard to impress us in the shaving cream department, but we are totally obsessed with this non-foaming, ultra-moisturizing formula from the smoothness gurus at eos. It helps us get a super-close shave and never makes our legs sting or our skin feel uber-parched--two major pluses, indeed. And, unlike most brands, the eos Shave Cream is packed with natural ingredients and vitamins that keep your skin looking radiant and feeling sleek long after you put the razor down. Even better: the price is just as phenomenal as the product: no wonder we're converts!

Redken Color Extend Sun Solar Screen SPF 12 ($16) Defend your do' from the damages of the sun and sea with this great spray sunscreen made especially for your hair and scalp. Along with the rest of the Color Extend family--which includes shampoo, conditioner, and two protective treatments--this solar shield safeguards color and gives sun-stressed strands a sleek finish. All in all: it's a beach-bag necessity!

M.A.C To the Beach Nail Lacquer ($12) in Scorcher
No beauty roundup would be complete without a little polish, so today we decided to include this perfect summer shade from MAC. Part of their limited-edition To The Beach collection, the Scorcher lacquer is the perfect creamy watermelon color. Your little piggies will pop with a few coats, so make sure you pick some up before it's completely gone!

Anastasia Lash Lifting Mascara ($22)
While most of the items in today's story are brand new, we had to give one of our go-to products a little love too. Created by brow expert Anastasia Soare, this mascara is one of our secret tricks for getting truly lush lashes. The super silky formula gives you loads of volume and length without clumping, plus it curls our lashes perfectly--always a bonus for lazy girls like us! We know it may sound like a too-good-to-be-true beauty product, but trust us: we've tried every single mascara on the market and this is one of our all-time favorites.

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Pressed Shimmer Bronzer ($13)
Known for their high-quality, dermatologist-recommended, hypoallergenic products--and oh-so-cute packaging--Physicians Formula is a cosmetic brand we've adored forever. And how could we not, especially when they create products like the new Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Shimmer Bronzer? In addition to giving you that highly coveted sun-kissed look, this bronzer actually enhances your natural tan and helps extends your color: talk about a multi-tasker!

Per-fekt Beauty Skin Perfection Eye Perfection Gel ($45)
Primer, highlighter, moisturizer, and firming gel--Per-fekt's appropriately named Perfection Eye Gel truly excels at everything. Whether you're dealing with puffiness, fine lines, or tired-looking peepers, just smooth on a little of this tinted gel-mousse formula and get ready for an instantly refreshed eye area! It's particularly perfect for summer, as it feels incredible on the skin and its ultra-light formula seems to airbrush any flaws. The line's Skin Perfection Gel ($57.50) is also noteworthy and an excellent alternative to tinted moisturizer!

L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel ($10)
We're all for getting the bronze without the harmful bake, which means we've explored about a million different tanners over the years. While most have left us underwhelmed, L'Oreal's new Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel is really revolutionary. It's has a unique, no-mistakes formula, dries in seconds, and gives your skin a truly lovely color. If that's not enough consider these two facts: it doesn't smell and it washes off with soap and water. That means it's amazing for tan line cover-ups, self-tanner corrections, and commitment-phobes alike!--Sarah Patellos
