AdAge reports that its sales are up 5 percent this year, with no signs of slowing down, and more and more brands (even Chanel!) are releasing beautifully wrapped versions. They're surprisingly multi-purpose; from washing your hands to perfuming your linen closet and serving as a perfect hostess gift or party favor, hard soaps are the kind of thing you want to have on hand.
