Models Are Obsessed With These "Ugly" Sneakers in 2018

Fashion girls have understood and utilized the power of a statement-making "ugly" shoe since the trend came to be several seasons ago, and perhaps the biggest style to emerge from the "ugly" shoe trend is the "ugly" sneaker. Clunky dad sneakers started showing up on the feet of It girls like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid in 2016, and now, thanks to the popularity of Balenciaga's sold-out Triple S sneakers, it's a full-blown frenzy.

Retailers haven't been able to keep the polarizing sneakers in stock since their debut, but they are taking pre-orders in new colors for delivery next month (right in time for fashion week). The good news is, despite their $850 price tag, the sneakers are surprisingly versatile. See how Hailey Baldwin, Elsa Hosk, and Bella Hadid are styling them and shop a similar sneaker below.
